I have gambled on millions of rounds of twenty-one. I began sneaking into the casinos when I was still underage. I have gambled on online vingt-et-un, I have counted cards, and worked as part of a team for a little while. With all that said I have still lost a lot of cash at vingt-et-un. The casinos have made it nearly impossible to defeat the game.
I still like the game and gamble on a regular basis. Over the years I have enjoyed a variation of twenty-one called "The Take it Leave it Method". You definitely will not get loaded with this tactic or beat the casino, still you will experience an abundance of fun. This method is based on the fact that vingt-et-un appears to be a game of runs. When you are hot your on fire, and when you are not you’re NOT!
I bet with basic strategy twenty-one. When I don’t win I bet the lowest amount allowed on the subsequent hand. If I lose again I wager the table minimum on the next hand again etc. Whenever I hit I take the payout paid to me and I bet the initial bet again. If I win this hand I then leave the winnings paid to me and now have double my original bet on the table. If I succeed again I take the payout paid to me, and if I win the next hand I leave it for a total of four times my original wager. I keep wagering this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I don’t win I return the wager back down to the original value.
I am very disciplined and never back out. It gets extremely enjoyable on occasion. If you win a few hands in series your wagers go up very quick. Before you know it you are gambling $100-200/ hand. I have had fantastic streaks a number of times now. I left a $5 table at the Venetian a few years ago with $750 after 60 mins using this method! And a couple of weeks ago in Las Vegas I left a game with $1200!
You must understand that you can give away a lot faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more thrilling. And you will be astonished at the runs you witness playing this way. Here is a guide of what you would wager if you kept winning at a 5 dollar table.

Take 5 dollar paid to you, leave the initial $5 wager
Bet $5
Leave five dollar paid to you for a total wager of 10 dollar
Wager $10
Take 10 dollar paid-out to you, leave the first 10 dollar wager
Bet 10 dollar
Leave 10 dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of twenty dollar
Wager twenty dollar
Take $20 paid to you, leave the original twenty dollar wager
Wager twenty dollar
Leave $20 paid-out to you for a total wager of 40 dollar
Bet forty dollar
Take forty dollar paid to you, leave the initial forty dollar wager
Bet $40
Leave $40 paid-out to you for a total wager of $80
Wager $80
Take 80 dollar paid-out to you, leave the initial $80 wager
Wager 80 dollar
Leave 80 dollar paid to you for a total wager of 160 dollar
Bet $160
Take $160 paid-out to you, leave the first $160 bet
If you departed at this point you would be up 315 dollar !!
It is difficult to go on a streak this long, but it does happen. And when it does you can’t deviate and lower your bet or the end result won’t be the same.
