I have played countless of hands of chemin de fer. I began sneaking into the casinos when I was still underage. I have wagered on online 21, I have counted cards, and worked as part of a team for a little while. With all that said I have still spent all kinds of cash at 21. The gambling halls have made it almost impossible to defeat the house.
I still enjoy the game and play on a frequent basis. Over this time period I have gambled on a type of 21 called "The Take it Leave it Method". You won’t get flush with this method or defeat the house, however you will experience an abundance of fun. This tactic is centered on the fact that chemin de fer seems to be a match of runs. When you are on fire your hot, and when you’re not you are NOT!
I wager with basic strategy blackjack. When I don’t win I wager the table minimum on the successive hand. If I don’t win again I wager the table minimum on the next hand again etc. As soon as I win I take the winnings paid to me and I wager the initial wager again. If I win this hand I then leave the winnings paid to me and now have double my original bet on the table. If I succeed again I take the winnings paid to me, and if I succeed the next hand I leave it for a total of 4 times my original wager. I continue betting this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I don’t win I lower the bet back down to the original amount.
I am very strict and do not "chicken out". It gets extremely thrilling at times. If you win a few hands in a row your bets go up very quickly. Before you know it you are wagering $100-200per hand. I have had awesome streaks a number of times now. I departed a $5 table at the MGM a few years ago with $750 after 20 mins using this tactic! And a couple of days ago in Macau I left a game with $1200!
You have to comprehend that you can give away a lot faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more exciting. And you will be amazed at the runs you notice playing this way. Below is a chart of what you would wager if you kept winning at a 5 dollar table.
Wager 5 dollar
Take 5 dollar paid to you, leave the first 5 dollar bet
Bet $5
Leave $5 paid-out to you for a total wager of 10 dollar
Wager $10
Take ten dollar paid-out to you, leave the first $10 wager
Bet $10
Leave $10 paid-out to you for a total bet of 20 dollar
Bet 20 dollar
Take $20 paid-out to you, leave the first 20 dollar wager
Wager 20 dollar
Leave $20 paid-out to you for a total wager of 40 dollar
Wager $40
Take 40 dollar paid-out to you, leave the initial forty dollar bet
Wager forty dollar
Leave $40 paid-out to you for a total bet of 80 dollar
Wager $80
Take eighty dollar paid-out to you, leave the original $80 wager
Bet 80 dollar
Leave eighty dollar paid to you for a total wager of $160
Wager $160
Take 160 dollar paid-out to you, leave the initial 160 dollar wager
If you departed at this point you would be up 315 dollar !!
It is herculean to go on a streak this long, but it can happen. And when it does you can’t deviate and lower your bet or the final result won’t be the same.
