I have wagered on countless of hands of blackjack. I began sneaking into the casinos when I was still underage. I have wagered on online vingt-et-un, I have counted cards, and worked with a team for a short time. With all that said I have still spent all kinds of cash at blackjack. The gambling halls have made it almost impossible to defeat the casino.
I still like the game and play on a regular basis. Over the years I have enjoyed a variation of twenty-one called "The Take it Leave it Method". You will not get flush with this method or beat the house, still you will experience a lot of fun. This method is centered on the fact that chemin de fer seems to be a match of runs. When you are on fire your hot, and when you are not you are NOT!
I bet with basic strategy blackjack. When I lose I bet the lowest amount allowed on the subsequent hand. If I lose again I bet the table minimum on the successive hand again etc. As soon as I profit I take the winnings paid to me and I bet the initial wager again. If I win this hand I then keep in play the winnings paid to me and now have double my original bet on the table. If I win again I take the payout paid to me, and if I succeed the next hand I leave it for a total of 4 times my original wager. I keep wagering this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I do not win I lower the action back down to the original bet.
I am very strict and do not "chicken out". It gets very enjoyable sometimes. If you succeed at a few hands in series your bets go up very quickly. Before you know it you are betting $100-200/ hand. I have had fantastic streaks a few times now. I left a $5 table at the Venetian a few years back with $750 after 30 minutes using this technique! And a number of weeks ago in Macau I left a game with $1200!
You must understand that you can squander a great deal faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more exciting. And you will be surprised at the runs you see wagering this way. Below is a chart of what you would bet if you kept winning at a $5 game.
Bet five dollar
Take five dollar paid to you, leave the original five dollar wager
Wager $5
Leave 5 dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of ten dollar
Wager ten dollar
Take ten dollar paid-out to you, leave the original ten dollar bet
Wager $10
Leave 10 dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of twenty dollar
Bet twenty dollar
Take 20 dollar paid to you, leave the initial twenty dollar wager
Bet $20
Leave twenty dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of forty dollar
Bet forty dollar
Take 40 dollar paid to you, leave the initial 40 dollar bet
Wager $40
Leave 40 dollar paid to you for a total wager of 80 dollar
Bet 80 dollar
Take $80 paid-out to you, leave the initial 80 dollar bet
Wager eighty dollar
Leave $80 paid to you for a total bet of one hundred and sixty dollar
Wager 160 dollar
Take $160 paid-out to you, leave the original $160 bet
If you departed at this point you would be up $315 !!
It’s hard to go on a streak this long, but it occasionally happen. And when it does you can NOT deviate and drop your wager or the end result will not be the same.
