I have gambled on millions of hands of vingt-et-un. I began sneaking into the casinos when I was 16. I have wagered on online blackjack, I have counted cards, and worked with a team for a short time. With all that said I have still spent an abundance of cash at vingt-et-un. The gambling halls have made it very hard to defeat the house.
I still like the game and play on a regular basis. Over this time period I have wagered on a variation of 21 called "The Take it Leave it Method". You certainly won’t get flush with this method or defeat the casino, still you will have an abundance of fun. This method is built on the fact that blackjack appears to be a match of streaks. When you are on fire your hot, and when you are not you are NOT!
I bet with basic strategy chemin de fer. When I lose I bet the lowest amount allowed on the next hand. If I do not win again I bet the lowest amount allowed on the next hand again etc. Whenever I profit I take the payout paid to me and I wager the original wager again. If I win this hand I then leave the winnings paid to me and now have double my original bet on the table. If I succeed again I take the payout paid to me, and if I succeed the next hand I leave it for a total of four times my original wager. I keep betting this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I lose I return the wager back down to the original value.
I am very disciplined and never "chicken out". It gets very exciting at times. If you win a few hands in series your bets go up very quickly. Before you realize it you are wagering $100-200per hand. I have had fantastic streaks a number of times now. I left a $5 table at the Wynn a couple of years back with $750 after 35 mins using this tactic! And a number of weeks ago in Las Vegas I left a game with $1200!
You must comprehend that you can say good-bye to a great deal faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more exciting. And you will be surprised at the runs you witness playing this way. Here is a chart of what you would wager if you continue winning at a 5 dollar game.
Wager 5 dollar
Take $5 paid to you, leave the initial $5 wager
Wager five dollar
Leave five dollar paid to you for a total wager of 10 dollar
Wager $10
Take ten dollar paid-out to you, leave the original $10 bet
Bet 10 dollar
Leave ten dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of $20
Wager 20 dollar
Take twenty dollar paid-out to you, leave the original 20 dollar bet
Wager twenty dollar
Leave twenty dollar paid to you for a total wager of forty dollar
Bet $40
Take forty dollar paid to you, leave the initial 40 dollar bet
Wager forty dollar
Leave 40 dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of eighty dollar
Bet 80 dollar
Take eighty dollar paid to you, leave the original $80 bet
Bet 80 dollar
Leave 80 dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of one hundred and sixty dollar
Bet 160 dollar
Take 160 dollar paid to you, leave the original one hundred and sixty dollar bet
If you departed at this moment you would be up $315 !!
It’s difficult to go on a run this long, but it does happen. And when it does you can’t deviate and lower your bet or the final result will not be the same.
