I have enjoyed millions of rounds of blackjack. I started sneaking into the casinos when I was still underage. I have wagered on online 21, I have counted cards, and worked as part of a team for a short time. With all that said I have still spent an abundance of bankroll at 21. The gambling dens have made it very hard to beat the game.
I still like the game and wager on a frequent basis. Over the years I have played a variation of vingt-et-un called "The Take it Leave it Method". You certainly won’t get flush with this tactic or beat the casino, still you will experience a lot of fun. This method is built on the idea that chemin de fer appears to be a match of streaks. When you’re hot your hot, and when you are not you’re NOT!
I play basic strategy twenty-one. When I don’t win I bet the table minimum on the successive hand. If I do not win again I wager the table minimum on the next hand again etc. As soon as I win I take the winnings paid to me and I bet the original wager again. If I win this hand I then leave the winnings paid to me and now have double my original bet on the table. If I succeed again I take the payout paid to me, and if I succeed the next hand I leave it for a total of 4 times my original wager. I keep wagering this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I do not win I return the action back down to the original amount.
I am very disciplined and do not "chicken out". It gets extremely enjoyable on occasion. If you win a few hands in sequence your bets go up very quick. Before you know it you are wagering $100-200/ hand. I have had awesome runs a couple of times now. I departed a $5 table at the Wynn a number of years back with $750 after 30 minutes using this technique! And a few months ago in Sin City I left a game with $1200!
You have to understand that you can say good-bye to a lot faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more exciting. And you will be amazed at the streaks you see playing this way. Here is a chart of what you would wager if you kept winning at a 5 dollar table.
Wager 5 dollar
Take five dollar paid-out to you, leave the first five dollar bet
Bet 5 dollar
Leave $5 paid to you for a total wager of ten dollar
Wager $10
Take 10 dollar paid-out to you, leave the original ten dollar bet
Bet ten dollar
Leave ten dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of twenty dollar
Bet twenty dollar
Take 20 dollar paid-out to you, leave the initial $20 bet
Bet twenty dollar
Leave $20 paid to you for a total wager of $40
Bet 40 dollar
Take forty dollar paid-out to you, leave the initial $40 bet
Bet forty dollar
Leave $40 paid-out to you for a total wager of $80
Bet $80
Take $80 paid-out to you, leave the initial 80 dollar wager
Bet $80
Leave eighty dollar paid to you for a total wager of $160
Wager 160 dollar
Take 160 dollar paid to you, leave the first 160 dollar bet
If you departed at this instance you would be up three hundred and fifteen dollars !!
It’s hard to go on a streak this long, but it often happen. And when it does you can’t deviate and drop your wager or the end result will not be the same.
