black jack is a game that somehow reminds me of a wild ride. It’s a game that kicks off slowly, but gradually picks up speed. As you ramp up your bank roll, you feel like you are getting up to the top of the coaster and then when you least expect it, the bottom collapses.
Blackjack is so akin to a rollercoaster the similarities are awe-inspiring. As with the popular amusement park experience, your blackjack game will peak and things will seem to be going well for awhile before it bottoms out yet again. You most certainly have to be a gambler that can adjust well to the ups and downs of the game given that the game of blackjack is choked full of them.
If you like the petite coaster, one that will not go too high or fast, then bet small. If you find the only way that you can enjoy the crazy ride is with a larger bet, then jump on for the crazy ride of your life on the monster coaster. The high rolling gambler will love the view from the monster roller coaster because he/she is not mentally processing the drop as they rush head first to the top of the game.
A win goal and a loss limit works well in blackjack, but very few players adhere to it. In blackjack, if you "get on the rollercoaster" as it is going up, that is just great, but when the cards "go south" and the coaster begins to toss and turn, you had better escape in a hurry.
If you don’t, you may not necessarily recount how much you enjoyed life while your bankroll was "up". The only thing you will remember is a lot of uncertainties, a wicked ride and your head in the stratosphere. As you are reminiscing on "what ifs", you won’t find it easy to recollect how "high up" you went but you will recall that mortifying fall as clear as day.
